The quest to win an entry package to this summer’s Saab Salomon Mountain-X Race in the French Alps has come to an end.  Last weekend’s Axis Gear Storm the Trent (EVENT#2 of 2) was a sold out event, taking place on a glorious weather day.  450 racers took to the Kawarthas, biking, running, and paddling their way across Sean Roper’s stellar racecourse.  

The competition for the big prize was particularly hot, with only 9 seconds separating 1^st and 2^nd place in the Series overall.  Congratulations to Bob, Scott, and Bill of Team Urban Athlete as they will represent Canada at this summer’s big race in France.
