The Saab/Salomon 5 Peaks Series hosted a triple header this past weekend with events in both Northern Alberta (Devon) and Central Alberta (Sibald Flats), as well as in Southern Ontario (Durham Regional Forest). All three events attracked strong fields, including members of the Salomon Flight Crew!

Running on the trails of the Durham Regional Forest, Salomon Flight Crew member Matt Strickland posted a great performance by taking the top of the podium in the Sport Class (5km) with a time of 18.34, over 30seconds ahead of 2nd place! Sorry, no photos available-
In Devon, Alberta, Salomon Flight Crew's trail runners showed off their form with great performances in the Enduro Classes (12.4km)! Courtney Harcott, who is getting ready to compete at the North American Central American and Caribean Championships (NACAC) in Tepatitlan, Mexico, finished 4th overall (1st in 20-29 category) behind race winner Rhonda Webster of Edmonton, AB. On the men's side, veteran racer Dennis Colburn showed off his Salomon colours by taking 3rd overall behind race winner David Corbett of Sherwood Park. Sorry, no photos available-
Meanwhile...At the foot of the Kananaskis Rocky Mountains, the Flight Crew capped off the day with 2 more Flight Crew podiums from Amy Golumbia and Phil Villeneuve. Golumbia easily won the 6km Sport Class event by finishing the slick course almost 3min over her nearest competitor! Villeneuve was rivalled by some tough contenders but hung on to finish 3rd overall behind Chad Kozak of Calgary and 5 Peaks COP's winner Duncan Marsden of the UK.
