Salomon Marathon Cup Series Winners!


The points have finally been added up for the 2007 Salomon Marathon Cup Series participants. This year's series developped some great battles in both the men's and women's overall categories. The age categories participants also enjoyed some tough battles, especially in the men's 50+ category where Robert Bernier nudged his rivals Mike Dyon and Gaetan Beaulieu who ended up tying for 2nd.

Swix Wax Report: The Good , The Bad and The Ugly

Hi Race Fans,


The last month of ski racing has definitely provided me with some interesting skis to work on. This included The Good (well maintained race skis), The Bad (un-named NST skier showing up with klister binder for the Birkebeiner and The Ugly (the worst maintained bases I have seen in a long time...).

Ivan BABIKOV wins Grand-Prix of "Lyzhnia Rossii"
On February 11, 2007 - Ivan BABIKOV won the Grand-Prix of "Lyzhnia Rossii", the most grandiose and popular XC ski race in Russia!! The "Lyzhnia Rossii" is major nordic festival that includes 84 participating cities all over Russia. Over 1'000'000 amateur and professional skiers took part in the races, which were selections to the Grand-Prix.
